Venue information for Punk London
Punk is the Breakfast Group’s latest venture in London’s West End.Launched early February 2007, it will replace the POP club / bar near Soho Square.
The Punk club has a capacity of 270 capacity, and mixes a decadent décor, comprising of custom Mapplethorpe type flower prints, Rock Galpin furniture, sex workers, sex slaves and carpets used in a way not seen anywhere before apparently…
Punk Bar in Soho will bring a new dimension to clubbing, akin to mashed up music: Offering a permanent stage allows live music and cabaret to sit side by side with Guilty Pleasures. In essence PUNK is all about mashed-up entertainment, in the centre of Soho. Nick House's Wonderland will sit alongside Tesco Disco and Anti-Social. Bloc Party will kick off affairs with an invite only private party. Art exhibitions and a Rat Pack soundtrack should follow.
Punk operates a 4am Licence in Soho Square, and launched just in time for London Fashion Week.
