Since the opening in June 2005 MOVIDA has rapidly moved from strength to strength. As an internationally renowned brand, MOVIDA is undergoing its first refurbishment, in three years to create an even more unsurpassable luxurious West End nightclub
Armed with a string of awards and a dedicated following of the truly stylish and world famous, this nightspot sets the standard for London to follow and remains the official epitome of cool.
Design
In the midst of a credit crunch, MOVIDA has decided to give back to their members and loyal guests during this time instead of following the economical climate.
Cote d’Azure designer Samy Chams returns to give the club a £2.5million spectacular facelift and total reworking.

Built within the vaults of the famous London Palladium Theatre, it’s raw brick arches and original features have been meticulously restored, creating a timeless, elegant and international atmosphere. Chams has kept this atmosphere for the re-build but has dramatically changed the flow of the club, removing & relocating all bars and significantly removing the restaurant to introduce the new VIP evening cocktail lounge MO*OD thus bringing the feel of a classic and luxurious club.

MO*OD is MOVIDA’s foray into high fashion European lounges, whilst keeping the infamous classic club feel in the main room. MO*OD is the official London kitchen for the elite caterer Banana Split. The lounge is the perfect place for an intimate chat backlit by the stunning custom alabaster bar & with London’s freshest DJs playing through a state of the art independent Bose sound system. In the main room MOVIDA will still play host to London’s favourite VIP section where the worlds rich & famous vie for attention, located in front of the DJ booth with MOVIDA’s private security.

MOVIDA’s exclusive VVIP room is complete with its new bar and ergo-organic seating forms. Situated off the clubroom and caters for the highest A-list needs and private events. This VVIP area has also been updated with a one-way mirror so you can look out but no one can look in.

MOVIDA has a new private area at the end of the dance floor boasting its own private and secluded entrance. This area is sponsored by prestigious champagne marquee, Dom Perignon going hand in hand with MOVIDA being the world’s largest seller of Dom Perignon.

Sound
MOVIDA has teamed up with the worlds best sound engineers to create an unsurpassed system with a state of the art system: 15 x ATC PA65 tri-amplified speakers & 12 x ATC 0.1 sub bass units. The system will also fit perfectly for the live music element MOVIDA is going to be introducing to the club.

This MOVIDA empire has continued to set the standards, being part of events such as The Berkley Square Ball and is the first club to be granted a  Royal enclosure VIP marquee at Royal Ascot.
As a brand known all over the world and with fans such as Prince, Kylie Minogue, Naomi Campbell, Kevin Spacey and Jay Z it was a no brainer for MOVIDA to start branching out to other parts of the world, opening in Prague and Las Vegas in 2009.
