Mahiki is London’s newest tiki bar, from Piers Adam (the inception behind Rock, Kabaret’s prophecy and many other hotspots) and Nick House(promoter/ entrepreneur known for londonparties, viewparties and nhe).

In the same style as Trader Vic's in the Park Lane Hilton, London’s Mahiki bar is an escape into a world mixing exotic Polynesian and south sea culture.

Mahiki is split in between two floors, upstairs is dark and elegant, as for downstairs its desert island disks all the way, where the dj accepts requests all night long.

Serving typical tiki cocktails and dishes such as Pina Coladas made with fresh pineapples, Neptune's Bounty, served in a diver's helmet, sushi and burgers.

Mahiki’s location at 1 Dover Street in Mayfair is just a few blocks from where the Mayfair Beachcomber once was; Joseph Banks, the legendary botanist who gained his fame as part of Captain Cook’s 1768 expedition to Tahiti, would have stayed.

In terms of getting in this is a really relaxed environment, there are no guest lists and the vibe is rather chilled out. Recommended.
